ISBN Number and Copyright

The ISBN number and copyright are not related. They are two separate things.

You do not need to register your copyright until after your books are printed. At that point we'll provide you with a simple one-page form to send to the Library of Congress along with a fee ($45) and two copies of your book. This will satisfy the Depository requirement and also register your copyright in the public record.
