Mockingbird Come Home is
the second book of poetry by Stephen B. Wiley. It follows Hero Island,
published in 2005, which was received with conspicuous acclaim. Wiley's
poetry was discovered by Dr. Neal Storrs, publisher and editor of
Oasis, who first published Wiley's work and who then persuaded Wiley
to produce a book of his poetry, which became Hero Island. Now
Storrs brings us this second book, noting how Wiley finds "a mystical
harmony uniting all things great and small."
