Customer Comments on
Signature Book Printing
We
love it when a customer praises us,
and want to share a few of these recent
unsolicited
customer comments with you.
To Phil and every one at Signature Book Printing,
Thank you sooooo much for such a wonderful
product. People love the look of my poetry book! They
comment on the quality and the cover like it's the best thing since
sliced bread. Aquiring your services is the best decision I've
made so far this year. Your customer service and professionalism
set a real precedent. And the end result...WOW! I am
completely impressed and will be using your services as often as I
need book printing. I will also do my best to reference business
your way. Thanks again!

I highly recommend Phil Nanzetta and Signature
Book Printing. I live overseas and had no experience in book
printing before contacting him. I received personal attention, quick
feedback, speed of production, and a very high quality final product.
Shipping was also of a very good quality; the books arrived on the
island without damage, even after ocean shipping
In particular, I'd like to stress the easy
communication with Phil Nanzetta. Emails and questions were
returned within hours. Sending documents back and forth was
without problem and a very fast and easy process. Phil was always
willing to find solutions to all my inexperienced questions and
requests.

I did a lot of due diligence before I spent my
hard earned money publishing not only a book, but my first one. It
was a tremendously scary undertaking since I did it from scratch by
reading hundreds of pages on the internet. After being made comfortable
with the language on Phil's www.sbpbooks.com
web page, I called to inquire further. I am very pleased to say
that from the start (even before deciding to make Signature Book
Printing my printer) to the finish (receiving and now selling a very
high quality product), I made the right choice in working with this
firm. From the pleasant customer service of Erinn, to bookkeeping
with Linda and last but not least, the "hand holding" from
Phil himself, I can not give a stronger recommendation!
My sincere thanks and loyalty!

Books received last Friday. They look
super. I appreciate the professional and user friendly way in
which you conduct business. One of the keys to my favorable
impression is your "thin" organization design. Other
houses have driven me to distraction because the right hand does not
know what the left hand is doing. Your hands work perfectly!
Kudos, and I can't wait to write another book for you to handle.
Also was pleased with the cover design - really gives the book a nice
punch. you can use me as a reference anytime.

Oh, and by the way....
{quoting from Signature's quote form}
Our prices are complete, and they are for exact quantity. We
suggest that when you are comparing costs, you watch out for
hidden charges in some printers' quotes; these may be listed as
administrative fees, proofs, proof shipment, 10% overs, and
other tricks that make it tough to see the actual cost.
I know this is standard language in your
quotes, but I have to comment... There is no need to do that
comparison. Of all the printers I've checked out for this project,
your company is the most cost effective while still maintaining high
quality.

I am pleased to write this letter of
reference and endorsement for Signature Book Printing and Phil
Nanzetta. I want to let the world know that this book printer is,
without doubt, the company you want to work with if you are thinking
of publishing a book, whether it’s your first or your 10th book. In
my work as an editorial consultant, I have helped three authors
publish their books using Signature and the results have always been
truly a dream. Furthermore, when I had the chance to start my own
publishing company, I did not hesitate to do so because I knew I had
the printing part of the equation all lined up. I knew I could count
on Signature to help me, guide me, and provide great printing. The
entire team at this company is exceptional, with personal service
beyond comparison. Phil Nanzetta goes out of his way, time after
time, to respond to your emails quickly, to inform and update you on
the status of your project, and to live up to his word. More than
once, Signature has provided me with beyond-the-line-duty service.
In one case, I consulted on a book project for a nonagenarian who
was writing his life memoir. He had founded a hospital in Los
Angeles and was a well-known figure in the community. We wanted to
publish a hard-cover edition of his book in time for the author’s
97th birthday in just 30 days!!! And Phil Nanzetta got the job done
for us in a beautiful book in 30 days time.
I have now founded my own publishing company, the Creativity
Coaching Association Press (see
www.cca-press.com), focusing on books about creativity and a
creative lifestyle. Signature has printed two press runs of my new
book, Inspiring Creativity, and I hope you will take a look at my
book if you are interested in this subject area. I invite you to
email me at
publisher@cca-press.com if you would like further details about
my experiences with Signature Book Printing a company that I highly
recommend to any author or publisher who is looking for a quality
printer with extremely high standards of professionalism and
personal service.
Yours sincerely,

Phil - I want to thank you for the way in
which you (personally) and SBP (corporately) handled printing my
book "Deny Them the Night Sky". Every aspect of the transaction,
start to finish, was at the highest level of professionalism - not
to mention you folks being about as user-friendly as humanly
possible. The advice you gave was uniformly superb and timely
(including the info you volunteered when I didn't know what to
ask!), and the level of help went far beyond what one might expect.
The book is oversized, complex, and not short at 520 pages,
including the color section. Your advice greatly improved the final
product, and the entire process was smooth and efficient. No
glitches at all. Everything you said would happen occurred as
planned, on schedule, at the cost quoted. This was my first
publishing venture, so I knew zilch about the realities of the
process - believe me, if and when I do this again, you folks will
simply get my business no questions asked. I've already recommended
you to a couple of friends, and would be happy to field any requests
you may have from potential customers for references.

The UPS shipment of books arrived today. We
are absolutely pleased with the final product as these books look
far greater than our expectation. The lay-flat-matte cover is truly
a lay flat (being tested well in our very humid day today), unlike
our first edition of a promised lay flat (including extra charges)
where the covers instantly curled as if they were placed in hair
curlers. The quality of paper and printing also have a welcoming
invite to the book, it feels good and looks good. Unlike our first
edition, we can proudly let these books go into the public.
We also wanted to say to you that we are very fortunate to have
crossed paths with Signature Book Printing; your printing
company does what it promises. You have been right up front with us
about your materials, costs, and schedules. From our previous
experience with another book printing company, we felt ripped off
with expensive extra costs and a promised product that was far
inferior to our agreement and expectations. We'd recommend you in a
heart beat (and already have) to anyone interested in knowing
about our experience or possibly wanting to publish. I truly hope
our books will sell and disappear like hot cakes so we will have to
go into another printing with you in the future.

I wanted to thank you for the fine quality work you did on
my book, "Deal With It!" I have not yet begun to market
this book on a broad basis, but already I’ve sold over 600
copies through word-of-mouth. At $19.95 a copy that means
the project is officially profitable!
Keep the template fresh - a second edition is almost a
certainty!

I just wanted to let you know that the books are fantastic.
You guys really did a great job, and did it ahead of time,
to boot. Definitely the best experience we've had with a
printer.
We'll be doing our third issue this summer, most likely
printing in July, and we're definitely planning to print
with you again.

I don’t know if I had given you
feedback on the recent job you did for us (The
Horologion, Book of Hours). This, in addition to the
previous job you did for us are absolutely
beautifully done. In addition, as I have tried to
communicate on previous occasions, I thank you for
your work. You and your company do a great job at a
competitive price. It is a pleasure and it is easy
doing business with you. This is customer service at
its finest! I commend you and your employees for
following through on your promise of great service.
I wanted to pass this along. I
was just reading prayers from the Horologion, and
now that I have finished, I wanted to pass along
these thoughts.
Have a great weekend.
God-willing, as future business opportunities arise,
I hope and expect that we will continue this very
pleasurable business relationship.

One of our customers, Mary D. Osborne, responded to a request
for information from a potential customer as follows:
Hi, Julie:
I found my experience with Signature Book Printers a very
satisfactory one. I was a little leery at first, because,
to be honest, I didn't think their Website looked glitzy or
sophisticated enough. However, it was more informative and
straight-forward than most others I'd visited. I didn't feel
stupid for not knowing all the printing lingo, since it was
explained so nicely on their site. Phil Nanzetta was very
helpful, very businesslike and no-nonsense. Whatever was
stated on their Website was true. Their turn-around time on
the proofs was a week. It actually took a little less
time for my book to be printed than anticipated (I think
less than 4 or 5 weeks). Shipping was the only snag, and
that wasn't much of a problem--I live in Wisconsin and the
weather was actually the culprit there. I'm anticipating
printing a second children's book with Signature, I hope
in September, as well as a technical book of my husband's on
stuttering management (also in September). I'm looking
forward to working with them again, and I don't think you'd
go wrong to print [your book] with them. Plus, they give
your completed book a nice little Web page (like the one you
saw for THE BOY WHO LOVE THE SHIM-SHAM SHIMMY). I've also
had a lot of good feedback on the quality of the book
printing from bookstore owners, etc.
Hope that answers your questions. I think it's smart to
check with some of their customers. I never even thought of
doing that! Doi!
Hope things go well with you (You'd better be ready to
market, market, market, market once your book is
published--that's the hardest part of all!)
Dear Phil,
I have to say- this has been a very pleasurable and the
most EASY relationship that we have had related to
printing. We will continue to use your services for
everything I write!! I am also
referring you to everyone I know so don't be surprised
if you start getting phone calls starting with "Kimberly
told me to call you..."
I will also be sending you the writeup for your web site
as well so we can take advantage of that service as
well. Many thanks!!!!
The books look AMAZING - many thanks to you, Phil, and the entire
staff who made this experience seem so simple. I cannot say enough
good things about working with your company - quick responses to
questions, assistance throughout the process, friendly and
knowledgeable staff, fairly priced, quality work...what more could
one want from a company?!!
So....on behalf of Bethany Church here in LaPorte, IN....thanks
again, so much. Everyone is thrilled with the finished product.
Blessings to you and your family as well and may you have a
wonderful Christmas.

A pleasure doing business with you!
My father-in-law sent us our copies of Essentials of Living
and I am so pleased with the outcome. They are beautiful and the
quality is excellent. You have delivered all that you promised and
relieved all my anxieties about doing business "sight-unseen".
Thanks for helping to make CC Thomas' dream come true!

It's been great working with you. Here's a quote for your
testimonial page in case you want to add it. After
scouring the Web in search of a printer for my father's
memoirs, I ended up finding one just down the road in
Gaithersburg. But it wasn't the convenient location that
sold me; Signature's straightforward approach to business
and pricing convinced me that the staff really understood
the needs of someone who was self-publishing.
Phil was prompt in his responses, thoughtful in his
answers, and good to his word. When my amateur attempts at
cover design weren't quite up to the task, his staff
delivered a quality revision at a fair price. The results
were exactly what I was looking for - a smart-looking book
that my parents and their friends will treasure for many
years.
Since Signature Book Printing does most of its work with
people they never meet, perhaps the best insight I can give
someone looking for a printer is that I have now met Phil
and his staff and have seen his printing facility. I can
tell you that they are as professional and honest as they
appear on their website. They do high-quality work and they
keep their commitments. Without hesitation, I would
recommend Signature to anyone looking for a fair price on
quality book printing.

I was at the end of my rope, having been screwed by my
publisher (-------), and had to find a printer fast in order
to get my baseball book out in time for baseball
season (it was already May). My publisher told
me that it would take 5 weeks to "possibly" get books
and they would cost $4.00 per copy. We had to go to lawyers
to get out of our deal with him. Mr. Nanzetta and
Signature Books came highly recommended, but I was still
skeptical. Being shrewd (neurotic?), I asked Phil about 8
questions a day. He answered every one in detail, no matter
how inane, or redundant, and each within a few hours of my
e-mails to him. (editor's note: this is not to
encourage 8 inane or redundant questions a day) Finally,
I jumped in with his company and he had the books done in
two weeks and for over $1.00 less per book. Plus, they
looked flawless -- unlike our publisher's version.
It's been night and day from my initial experience in the
book world. I couldn't be happier or more impressed.

I wanted to take time to express my appreciation for all the help
and assistance you have given in the printing and publication of my
books. As you are probably aware, I am not an experienced young
writer. I have forgotten more about writing from my school and
college days than I remember. Self-learning and remembering computer
and word processing has not been easy. Please thank Linda Wood and
others for the excellent help.
Back when I began looking for a company to print the first book, I
found it to be a long and arduous task. During the search I learned
to be cautious because of my inexperience in the field, although I
consider myself experienced and successful in other undertakings.
The purpose of my writing now is not financial gain. "You" have
helped fulfill that purpose.
In the future I plan writing other books. If I am able to complete
them, I hope you are there to assist - as you have with my present
books.

We have used three printers over the past eight years and
Signature Book Printing is hands down the best. They do what
they say they will and when they say. They are very helpful
with ideas, have good cover artists available for a very
reasonable fee, turn the book around quickly and are very
responsive. We have used them three times since 2004 and
have been very pleased. Some printers use pricing "tricks",
such as giving themselves the contractual right to be 10%
above or below the requested number of copies--Signature
does not do that. I would give them my highest endorsement.

It is a distinct pleasure to recommend
Signature Book Printing. The finished product of my book was very
high quality and outstanding, especially the beautiful four-color
cover. Phil Nanzetta and Linda Wood are true professionals -- their
customer service was "second to none". Questions I had about my book
were answered promptly and professionally.
Signature's website is outstanding and HONEST. Everything they
advertise is true -- nothing is "hidden" like on other book
publishing web sites. Keep my "printing plates" handy -- future
reprintings of Mayday! are a certainty. I'm currently writing
another book; Signature will be printing that one too!
